Well, as the new year starts, we all expect to be the first to do some stuff.....today, it was the turn of my friend Hal, who was gracious enough to allow me to accompany him on a trip to Port Alberni a while back.....he went up in the Vagabond and saw Wendy and I standing near the threshold and did a few touch-and-go's for us.....here are a few shots of it, then a few of the scenic countryside which I am fortunate enough to enjoy all year long..........now you can see why I live here.......

Well then let me be the first to say,Great photos!!
Remind me of here in the Smokey Mountains! Proud to be able to live in a beautiful place!
That is one "Pristine" airplane!!!! Not a speck of dirt to be found even after landing at a snow covered strip!!
My highest respect goes to people who are proud of their airplane and show it by keeping it in imaculate condition!!
My hat is off to you and your friends!
Great planes, Great photos, doesn't get much better than this!!!!
Well it would if i was there with you!!! Smiley

And all this time I thought you were in B.C. because that's where Windy lived.  Roll Eyes
The Vagabond looks sweet, parden my ignorance, but does she sit two abreast or tandem, looks like two abreast.

I do live in B.C.......these shots were taken at Courtenay Airpark on Vancouver Island.....5 mins away from where we both live.....

.....and yes, the Vagabond is a side-by-side.....I've flown in it and had the good fortune to land it, from the right seat..............
