PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! (Read 384 times)

Please help me. My FS is totally wron with its headings. On the heading indicator, the info on top(shift+z) etc, they all show the wron heading. For instance when I'm at Mehrabad, it should show 286 degrees, but it shows 61 on the gauges and the info bar. Please help me, please!!!
Is it maybe an outside interference?

I'm not sure what you are asking Asda. Your heading is dependant on which way you are facing. If you are facing north (000 degrees) it will show as 000 degrees whether you are in Calcutta or Birmingham.....
If you mean the Lon/Lat at the top can you explain what the problem is.

You didn't seem to understand, man. When I am facing 286 degrees, the gauges and the red info on top display that I am heading 61 degrees! When I am at Kish, I should be facing 95 deg but the game displays it as 46 deg. What is wrong?!?!?!?!

If ALL the gauges are reading 61 degrees, how do you know you are facing 286? ???

I know I should be facing 286 because I've got charts of Mehrabad and I can also remember seeing 286 when I was aligned with the runway at Mehrabad!!

Well, Mehrabad could be positioned incorrectly in FS. This has happened many times!
Have you added ANY scenery since the problem started? That may be the issue.

If its that far out it occurs to me that you might be at the wrong end of the runway.

Well, the math works out to his being either:
A. On another runway (225 degrees off)
Or
B. The airport is positioned wrong.

Don't the runways have the heading marked at each end?
I could be wrong but believe these are True headings whle the gauges read Magnetic.

No, this is an issue at every single airport. It's not even the bloody airports, the game just reads the headings wrong! Why?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!!?!?
Mehrabad is not positioned wrongly, I have had the problem at JFK, Newark, Yazd, Narita, Haneda, basically everywhere! No, I haven't installed any recent scenery...
At Mehrabad, the runway is labelled 29L, but the heading the game displays is 61, completely different!

Asda. I have no idea what's causing your problem. My only practical suggestion is to Uninstall/Install FS2002.
