After 2 days of work so far, i have completed about 60% of my new Aerospatiele SA 316B Alouette III. So far it has a DYNAMIC SHINE AND REFLECTIONS!!!!! It will feature custom sounds ( maybe ) a dynamic VC and custom panel. As well as at least 5 different paints.

Sorry about the quality of the JPGs, they dont do it justice...

...

Parked at some place in the Alps ( forgot the Airport name, lol )

...

Well, thats it so far... to be finished soon Cheesy

Ooh! Cool!  8) 8) 8)
In Holland the airforce used to operate Alouette III's. Their demoteam was called 'The Grasshoppers'. My gliderclub was often used as a stopover when they were on their way to shows in Belgium and N-France. So I managed to get a quick ride aboard one of those once. Make sure you get the sounds right, PLEASE. It has this very distinctive sound to it.

Great shots of a great chopper!

BTW, if you plan to fly it in Swiss colors, get the Alps mesh scenery. It truely is worth the download.

looks excellent so far. And dont worry about the comments about no pilot. Just remind everyone its a full sized remote controlled bird going through testing.

The mesh can be dl'ed at avsim, just look in the FS2004 section and use the author's name 'Pietro Mauri'. For the Alps you'll need Germany, France and Italy (his country). It's in the readme's.

Much more mesh for 2004 there, it is a dream  8)

The sound, well, hard to describe it has a specific whining to it, like as if from the bearings in the rotorhead.
I'll try this one here (3 of 3): http://www.simviation.com/fs2002heli25.htm

Edit:/ tested the sounds from the above link, the 'AT3inside.wav' has the high pitched sound, very specific, but listen around the noise that is included as well. The 'AT3outside' has the distinctive sound in the back, though it's difficult to make out. If you filter the noisy jetflow, you'll hopefully hear it.
