Well I've finally found out why airlines don't like flying to Liverpool International (John Lennon).....
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

They used to have one like that at Gatwick in British Caledonian livery. It didn't have any wings on it like this one. They used it for training cabin crew. I think when BCal went bust they let the fire crews play with it.
PS. I think Ozzy's reference to Liverpool runs a little deeper. if you go there they warn you not to leave anything for a second or when you get back it will be propped up on a few bricks with the wheels missing. No offence to my friends in Liverpool.

I knew it couldn't be at any US airports...especially in NY....reason being...it still has the wings and fuselage. They would have stripped it to the frame and recycled all the aluminum.
