I just started installing aircraft to my CFS program. They seem to work fine and look good with the external view, but with the conkpit view the window is blacked out.
Is there another file or utility needed or are these aircraft just not useable with CFS ?
I have tried several airplanes and the only one that works correctly is "P51-RIDGE RUNNER 3".

thanks for any help

Firefox. This is a common problem with CFS1. My CFS Panel Clinic should help. http://www.simviation.com/lair/CFSpc.htm

Hi firefox

This happens to me also but i just right click the black area and click on"close window". This usually eliminates the window frame but not the panel so that you can see out of the window. Although in some cases it closes the whole panel in which case i suggest you try Hagars link

good luck

Now if something goes without saying, then why do people say it??&&&&http://www.homepages.mcb.net/bones/04fs/MP/9320.jpg

Use Doug's method. It works every time. I tend to do more than the first pixel though....

I´ve had the blank front view too, and your PANEL_MASKING_OFF=0 worked for me, so my RN Aviation Collection is now worth using.   I still have some black side bars, but I´ll get on to those when I feel a bit braver.
Thanks!  Smiley
