Do you mean the one that has "Objects, Shapes, Compounds" etc on it?  Just press 2 when you open up Gmax.  It'll pop right up.

well, right now it has a nose, nose doors, nose gear, and a rudder.

here's a gif of all i have so far. i want to test it, see what works and whatnot, there are no aeilerons or flaps and spoilers as of yet, but there is everything else but the cockpit. any volunteers to conver it? and i also would like someone to make me a cockpit... because i cannot make a person for the pilot. and i need a painter. i cannon make a texture worth crap. any volunteers? pm me, e-mail me, aim me or msn me.

Uh-oh!  That's a bad sign.  I have never been able to open up a file after I get that message, and I've never been able to track down the culprit.

Have you been saving your work with different file names?  I usually have a section in my Gmax folder with the name of the aircraft, and in that, several folders for each section of the aircraft I've been making such as engines, fuselage, wings, DVC, etc.  Inside each of those folders are multiple versions of the same section.  I start with fuselage01 and then once I have changed something significant, I save it again as fuselage02, and then fuselage03 and so on.  Once I have completed the aircraft in the different sections, I use Merge (in the File menu) to bring them all together in a file I call aircraft_merge or whatever_merge.  I place that file in the main folder of the aircraft I'm working on.  This has saved me numerous times when I encounter problems just like this one.

If you haven't got any backups like that, I think you're SOL.  Sorry . . .

But you might try going into the autoback section of the gmax files folder and see if there is anything in there that pertains to your aircraft.
