Alaskan Floatplane 'Adventure' (Read 215 times)

I took a 20 minute hop in a Cessna 195 floatplane, and I must say it's not a bad little bird.

Starting off in Kodiak Lily Lake
...

It's a pretty bad storm out there, wind's blowing me this way and that
...

Climbing above the storm clouds
...

Much nicer up here
...

After a little flying around I decide to head to Ori Lake for a swim

Lining up for 'final' in the icy cold waters of Ori Lake
...

It's a fun plane to fly, floatplanes are great cuz you can land em anywhere, except I guess rocky ground or on a mountain peak. But whatever, the VC's pretty good, and it's not a hard plane to take care of. Hope you liked the pics, sorry for the bad quality  Wink

Nothing wrong with the quality of the screens. A bit gray perhaps, but hey, thats how storms are!  Wink
