I am unable to download weather on FS2002 professional.  I started having this problem last week and I have tried everything to include a new install and no luck.  FS2002 says that it is unable to access the server.  Is there anything that I can do to set it on the right path to access the Jeppesen server via MSN. Thanks. ???

I have had that problem too. A few hours normally fixes the problem.

The people who are my first contact when I have a problem with access are only a suburb away so you can imagine that there is rapport.

When I couldn't access the server I rang and asked what was going on,not,as I explained to them I was angry,I was simply trying to find out the guts of the story.

The bottom line was that they were under attack from a worm and they were rerouting to resume service.

Have a thought for those people who provide us with access, most of the time glitch free!

Cheers

Hi feokata,

If you cant connect to the fs2002 weather server, try this link in IExplorer.

http://fs2k.zone.com/

Supposedly if you can read the page, the server is up.

Cheers,
dave

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.          Igor Sikorsky

The couple of times it's happened to me, my LAN connection has been down rather than it being a problem with the M$ part of the operation.
