Trigonometry - sine, cosine and tangent rules.
Plus for air traffic controlling there is a whole heap of right angled triangle and geometric rules used for the separation of aircraft.

haha thats easy! My geomrety books applies SOMETIMES concepts of Geometry to planes.
Hold on looking....
Its a problem so paraphrase what to put:
For safety airplanes heading eastward are assigned an altitude level that is an odd number of thousands of feet and airplanes heading westbound are assigned al altitude level that is an even number of thousands of feet. If you're an airplane flying southwest at 32,000 ft and your best friend and your best friend is in an airplane flying east at 23,000 ft describe the type of lines formed by the paths of the two planes. Explain your reasoning
That is one

One more in my Geometry book tho this is a bit of basic knowledge:
An airplane passing over Richmond at an elevation of 33,000 ft begins its decent to land at Washington, D.C., 107 miles away. How many feet should the airplane descend per mile to land in Washington,D.C., which has an elevation of 25 feet? Explain how you arrived at this answer.

In a word.......EVERYTHING about flying is geometry.....
.........wing location with in the fuselage, upper surface to lower surface at the wing lead edge, trailing edge, stabilzer to fuselage datum, wingtip to tail trammelling, windscreen angle, thrust line deviations from fuselage datum, rotation angle required to leave the ground at given speeds, bank angle in rate 1 turn, stall angle of the wing..... the list goes on........

Oh man. Long list of how it relates.
Planes: Everything about the plane has to do with shapes. . Triangles, circles, squares, that sort of stuff.
Flight plans: Planning on flying straight? Yes? Not much to worry about.
Want more? I can keep going. . .
