Nope. Not even a basic drawing. Roll Eyes
I'm sure I've seen a 3-view somewhere in the past. I'll have another punt round later.

After many hours of dead ends and useless links I think I have found what everyone here is looking for!

Try this link: http://svc.ana.co.jp/eng/aboutana/corporate/galleryclassi/1953/dhd.html

and this one for the heron:
http://svc.ana.co.jp/eng/aboutana/corporate/galleryclassi/1953/dhh.html

Hope that helps in some small way. When the bage comes up there is a popup that says something about installing a language pack, i just hit cancel and had no problems.
Hope this is what you were looking for in the ways of a photo, not so good three-view, and even a small list of specs.

Thanks Kevin. The 3-views are a tad on the small side but the best I've found yet.

Sorry that the three views are small but they are the only ones I have been able to find thus far and thought they would be better than what we had going so far. I am always on the search though as this is my second favorite thing to do on the net. I love a challenge, I like nothing more than for someone to be looking for something and I can find it for them. It is kinda my way of helping out this fine group of people we have here since I dont make aircraft or scenery. I can't repaint to save my life, and I am about as usefull around here as a screen door on a submarine. LOL
Anyways, I will let you know if i find anything else that may be of help.
Still searching,

Kevin

Thanks for taking the time. You've been more successful than me so far. I even found a 3-view of the Miles M.60 Marathon (manufactured by Handley Page) from one of your links. This aircraft has a special meaning for me as I had my first flight in one in 1957. I was also involved with breaking one up for spares in the 1960s. I still have 2 of the 3 air reservoirs fitted to a compressor in my workshop.

Hi Kevin

Is there a chance you might find me a Radial Engined
DHC-3 (Otter) not the Turbine Otter and preferably on amphib floats.
I have a wheel and float version now.

Happy Landings...Cheers....Doug

Hagar - are you looking for Dove/Heron plans?  Warbirds had both.  If you need them, let me know.  As you can see, I'm partly into the Heron (Continental engines) and Dove (DH engines).

The Heron plans cover the Series 1 and 2, and scratch views of the Continental conversions.

As an aside, PRINAIR paid to have a "regular" Continental  4-engined Series 2 "stretched" to accomodate about 24 passengers, but this didn't go further since they bought CASA 212 aircraft, shortly before selling to American Eagle.

I have been looking for one of those since FS9 came out and have not been able to find a single offering anywhere that is compatible. I also have the wheel and float but no amphib. Sorry.

Sorry Felix. I somehow missed this. Thanks for the offer. I might take you up on that some time. I'm not particularly interested in this for myself as I have no immediate plans to attempt my own examples. It would be nice if someone with more talent took it on.

I should have the spares lists & maintenance manuals for both aircraft around somewhere, unless they got dumped during a move. I'm sure these contain accurate 3-views & more information than anyone could possibly wish for.

I did spot your shot & wondered about its significance. I prefer the originals myself. They always looked better to me.

Of course, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder ...  my "preference" for the Continental Herons is that I flew in them, and the president of PRINAIR was, for a time, my neighbour (and took me flying in his Mooney).

I can't imagine a non-DH engined Dove.

The DH nacelles, though, aren't mine - they're presents from Frank Elton of Pegasus.
