Thanks.
This particular ac (hu162k2.zip) can be found here:
http://www.avsim.com/pages/0803/fs2004_review/add-ons/addon.html
There are a few hu-16s around but, this one has a VC, is well modeled and comes in a great livery.
It also works perfectly in ACOF.
You need to supply you own sound however for the 9cyl wright radials.
For now, I alised it to the Ford Trimotor in ACOF and it doesn`t sound too bad.
BTW, for those who don`t know, that`s New York`s
"Coney Island" amusement park in the background of the first pic.

that last one is a great shot!
And I agree they dont make them like they used to.
Kind of like a sports car. They lost their in-your-face tesstosterone building appeal and became a very fast computer on wheels.

There was an Albatross based here in Oklahoma, at Jones Riverside, not sure if it is still here or not. The owners had turned her into a home with wings, man was she a sight to see. Those big radials sure made a sweet sound, one I won't soon forget.

Those are some of the best bare metal textures that I've ever seen.
I saw the Albatross when one came over here for two airshow seasons and I mss seeing it cause it is a very nice plane.

Yeah, normally bare metal textures tend not to look as good in ACOF as they did in FS2002 but the textures on this particular HU-16 are excellent.
