Yes sir, it is. I'm not all that familiar with the 747 cockpits. But on the 737 (which shares similar glass displays found on the 744 and the 777's) you have 2 knobs controlling what to display on which screens.
From the captains view, you normally have, from left to right, the PFD (primary flight display), the ND (Navigation display) and the MFD (Multifunction display)or EFIS (Electronic Flight Instrument System ). By rotating these knobs you can decide to show the various displaymodes on different screens. Very handy if one screen becomes inoperative.
In the real 747-400, you'd have 2 knobs labeled
LWR CRT and
INBD CRT.
LWR = lower (Screen found between the FMCs)
INBD= Inboard (Screen where the ND is normally displayed)
CRT = Cathode Ray Tube (type of display screen)
And by rotating these knobs you will, like I said earlier, get different displaymodes to show up on different screens
