i'm patiently waiting for dan to finish his new blackhawk. but in the meantime, i've been flying jordan moore's new blackhawk release for 2004.  it has excellent flight dynamics, and a detailed model, but the original textures leave something to desire. there was also a paint kit released with the helo so there were already some better examples at hovercontrol.com high speed landings are fun in this bird does kick up alot of dust though

the return of my favorite plane!some of you may have followed the older forums and read some of my posts on disappearing textures,  well not entirely fixed but at least solved to usable. i tested 2004 running in safe mode and found it to solve my problem.  i start up in windowed mode and then switch to full screen and everything is fine.  i still can't rotate the viewed airplane in the menu in full screen mode though. but at least they don't look like grey plastic anymore.  occasionaly the textures go kaput, if i run in safe mode again all is well
anyway, the return of my favorite plane(fully textured) over the sound south of seattle comments are always welcome,

Very nice pics, is that mt. hood....or was that lake hood?

yeah that's mt. hood in the background.   it's a nice area to fly.  hovercontrol has some add on scenery there with this neat hovercircle thingie,  that i have been using to sharpen up my chopper skills.  anyway...........here's a few more shots of another version at hovercontrol, the coast guard jayhawk the model is basically the same, she flies the same, but has much better default textures and yeah were still flying over the hood river area.
