Cool, but I think the face plate should be black not gold. I know they reflect that way sometimes, but here it looks fake.

Instead of just making it black, couldn't you make it black than put a slightly transparent light gold frost over it. I'm not that famular with painting programs-but that way you would have a slight gold tint over a black background and it would look more real.

Yeah, that's what I would do. I've just been too lazy to do it. Roll Eyes

I left the gold plate the way it is in the game and added the grain and shade and all that. I personally don't think it's terribly unrealistic looking. What if the sun were directly reflected off the visor?

Please don't be discouraged Daniel. I think it looked great. I just didn't think the faceplate worked. Please put him back. I would hate to think about him floating off into space, with his sife and kids left behind fatherless on Earth...

I really liked it with the astronaut in it (I like anything with astronauts-thats what I want to do). But, I was just trying to make a suggestion-I hope that you didn't remove him because of something I said.
