Hi All,

I'm new at FSDS2 and am trying to figure out how to use the X-Y-Z Symmetry Tools on the menu bar. For example, I'm trying to simultaniously move "right" vertices the same distance as "left", just in opposite directions... which (I assume) is the purpose of the Symmetry Tools. But, I just can't make it happen.

Followed the tutorials, but couldn't find an example of their use.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Dave

The symmetry tools work on a structured part, and in cross section mode.

Typically, I'll use it in front view to get the section "just right".

I'll also hide all points except those that I want to work with, then go into cross section mode and work with the symmetry tools.

CAUTION:  if you hit any of the move/rotate/.scale mode buttons, you affect the complete cross section.
