Blimey...!
I remember a discussion like this cropping up in the San Francisco KRON4* Web site Forum concerning the guilt, or not, of Scott Peterson in the death of his wife and un-born son....
It turned into a real flame war, and quickly got the whole Forum shut down by KRON4, permanently... Shocked.. Shocked... Shocked...!

Paul..... Wink...!

Hi Fozzer...!

Seems that forum had a real problem with it's members. If I remember right it had to be temporarily closed earlier this year due to all the flame wars about the war over in Iraq. Seems nobody learned anything did they ??? Roll Eyes

I'm so thankfull for Simviation 8)

I remember the flame wars.

I may have started a few when I was younger, but I'm all grown up and I'm a changed man.

That's what I like about simviation, everyone is well mannered. And those who are ill-mannered tend to grow up and change as well.

I have visited other sites. Trust me, just like that forum that you guys mentioned, there were other forums that were h377.

I was playing online with a game called Ghost Recon. I chatted with the people in the CLANS-ONLY lobby. I just said "Hi, I'm new. How's everyone doing?" Then all of a sudden [out of nowheresville] an army [or a mob at least] began to verbally attack me with insults.

I was like "What? I just said HI!!!". And then more came after me with insults.

I guess those people were playing Ghost Recon for far too long.

Ironically, only the FREE-FOR-ALL lobby [non-clan type] was full of people who are well-mannered. Tongue

Go figure.

How could anyone "vote" on this kind of subject with any credibility....... not having the basis of any real evidence to judge it by?  All any of us knows..... unless one of us is actually ON the jury...... is the stories we read and hear and see in the mass media.

And of course those are ALWAYS exact and totally factual.   Wink

best,

Hi Andrew... Grin...!
I'm glad that you remembered... Wink..!
I was a member of the KRON4 Forum at the time.
I joined it just to get some friendly, general  information from around the San Francisco area to help with my flights there, (as you know... Wink...)...!
But what with the flame wars over Iraq and the Peterson case, by the Americans residents of the area, it was very quickly shut down by KRON...(thank goodness...)... Shocked...!
...and NEVER re-opened.... Wink...!

I love it when Sim V Members discuss "happy" subjects... Grin...!
...I'm all for a bit of "happiness"... Grin... Grin... Grin...!
LOL...!

Cheers Andrew... Grin...!
Paul.

So is Kobe guilty or not?

If Kobe is guilty then I'm sure he will get away with it. I mean, most famous people can get away with anything anyway, or at least get a reduced sentence...

I don't care. I think all the sports players get payed WAY too much money to throw a ball around anyways.
For me sports are a waste of time to watch, i mean really, you go to a game, spend two hours trying to get into the parking lot, get overcharged for a seat, the food, and everything else. you spend four hours at the game, and another two hours trying to get out of the parking lot, not to mention the congestion on the highway. Forget it, as far as im concerned they can do away with professional sports all together and I say good ridence. Of course this is just my opinion and I know that it is not a popular one.
Just being honest,

Kevin
