This really isn't an issue that affects my creation of things, but it IS annoying.

Whenever I move the view around in any of the windows (pan, zoom, or rotate) the objects switch from their regular shapes to "Bounding Box" view.  You know, that view where everything is represented by a box the size and shape of the object?  Well, after I quite moving the view around, it goes right back to normal.  This isn't a real problem, except when I'm trying to eyeball a measurement.  Has anyone encountered this before? ???

And I haven't changed any of my settings (that I know of) or done any graphics card changes or anything like that.  It just started doing it on its own the other day, and I can't make it stop.

Click on the "Degradation Overide" icon. That should fix that problem.

It's not a dumb overlook, Ender, but I will admit that paying attention to, and repeating, Lou's "one-liners" make me seem far more knowledegable about gmax/3D Modelling than is the case.

gmax is such a powerful program that such tools are easily overlooked at first - then they become indispensable.
