Not surprised

Since when did any aircraft - let alone a passenger heavy - fly with no nav lights, strobes etc and/or come into land without landing lights esp in those conditions!

Try again Bonesy! Wink

if you look close to the left wingtip, you'll see a light!  Wink

they didn't accept it because it was too dark...what do they want, all the shots taken at daytime?  ???

I think it is a fantastic shot.  On the wing tips I can see the nav lights, but it woud have been cool to see a landing light.  I really like the clouds in the background and the shine coming off the MD-11.

One thing to remember, Mr. Bones, you will never make everyone happy.   As long as you like it, then that is all that matters.  I appreciate the effort you went to to capture your FS experience and share it with the rest of us.

I think is is great, their loss, our gain. Like codered said, "As long as you like it, then that is all that matters." Keep up the good work, and remember to share. Grin

thanks  alot guys for your comments...even you Roger  Grin

all the lights were on, i can prove that with the following shot, taken right after the first one above... Wink

...

but for some reason, you can see them very well...especially in flight. maybe iFDG has to fix that?

I like them both very much, Ken!
The first is a very moody shot, but the second is cool for it's touchdown-smoke on the runway.

Funny thing: the lights show off on the fuselage very well, but the lights themselves are hard to spot.  ???

BTW: Doesn't anyone miss the faint shining from the cockpit? I'd say that monster is on automatic all the way... ('Anybody home? Jenny? Mom, Dad?')

Glad you took it in the spirit it was intended. You know how these guys think- they've probably got limited space so if it's not 'perfect' they throw it out.

Don't get me wrong - it's a good shot - but I still think that if all the lights had been fully visible they would have jumped at it Grin

Awesome shot. Looks like a St Louis sky in early spring when the thunderstorms are approaching.

If the sky were just a little more greenish

hm...sorry,but no.
i thought of a wallpaper like nexus's. with a small simviation logo in the one corner and a smaller copyright signature somewhere else.
the pic itself should be the main thing, not the advertisement for simviation.
