Can anyone tell me how to start a flight from Terminal with engines off in fs 2002

The easiest way is to start a flight, taxi to the terminal and shut-down everything. Then save the flight. Now whenever you do that flight you'll start in a dark cockpit at the building (you can even set this as the default flight).

When you set up your flight (aircraft, location, time, etc) in the lower left-hand corner of the airport selection screen there is a pulldown menu. Select the airport you want to take off at and go to this selection menu. This will list all of the available terminals and gates at that airport. Simply select and fly.

You can do like ozzy said for the cold and dark cockpit, but there is also a gauge somewhere on this site called "Dark Cockpit" that will do the same thing. You just have to add it to the aircraft panel.cfg (I think). Easy installation instructions are included with the gauge. Gives you the advantage of being able to select what aircraft you want everything off in.
