Hi Michael....
...!
Over this side of the pond, Broadband cost us £28+ per month, not to mention rental of the telephone line, plus call charges...
So, enlighten me please...
...!
...As a fourteen-year-old school-boy, how do you find the money to finance that sort of expense every month...
...?
Or do you get Broadband for free in the U.S...
...?
Cheers mate..
...!
Paul.
(England).
P.S. or, do I suspect that it actually belongs to, and gets paid for, by Mum and Dad...
...?
Well actualy I my dad wanted a free phone line that he could use at any time, but he didn't want to pay the $48 fee that comes with it... so he still pays the $25/month that he used to pay for dial-up, and I pay the other $23... It seems to be going ok, and I think it was worth it
I am somwhere I don't know where I am!!!&&

the reason i got broadband... is because my dad uses the phone a lot but i use the internet a lot which leads to big fuss over line use.. i am on bt broadband and i pay 15 quid a month whilst he pays the other 15 quid. i wouldnt go back to 56k now its a waste of time it spends more time loading that is acutaly any use espec with very slow ISP's like aol or freeserve..... 5kb a sec compared to 60kb a sec download...hmm good value i think and plus it can be left on all day all night for the huge downloads.
phone can be used at same time thats the main reason i got broadband
