I find it too difficult to answer a question like this, I have commented before on my vast musical tastes and it just freaks most people out, we are talking most everything from Slayer to Tori Amos to 50 Cent to Shania Twain to Too Short to Johnny Cash to Yanni to Cradle of Filth, and that is barely scratching the surface, not counting time spent listening to Classical and Mariachi.
To me, music is too broad to get stuck listening to one genre, but you have to have a very open mind and understanding of the intricacies involved with each different type of music.

As pleasant as Shania is to look at, and as much as I would enjoy giving her the special Paz treatment, She also happens to be one of the only modern country music artists whose music I can stand to listen to occasionally, I currently own two of her CD's.
Here's a picture of us hanging out a while back:
She was wantin' it pretty bad that day.

Being Canadian, there are a number of Canadian bands that I really like.....my favorite though has to be Blue Rodeo.
I am not surprised if not many people have heard of them but they are definetly worth taking a listen to!

It's quite obvious...LIMPBIZKIT, baby!
Don't knock it until you've heard the new album! Listen to all the songs here:
http://www.mtv.com/music/the_leak/limp_bizkit/results_may_vary/index.jhtml
. Try 'Underneath the Gun' and 'Almost Over'.
I also like Linkin Park, Staind and Nirvan, but the Bizkit are the best ever.
