FS2002 View options - Spot plane questions (Read 214 times)

1) Does anyone know how this default is determined:
Views>View options>Spot plane>DISTANCE ??

Is it possible to re-program this so as not to have to repeat this step each time I fly a given aircraft? I like to spot at about 100 feet and then zoom in/out as necessary.

2) Can this default:
Views>View options>Spot plane>GRADUAL TRANSITION be turned off permanently?

Unfortunately, this is one of the functions that has to be set each time you use FS 2K2. Roll Eyes

Another possibility is to download ActiveCamera from the utilities pages here. This is a .dll file that sits in your Modules folder, ann converts the Tower view to a fly-by view. Then you can change the viewing parameters: distance, height.
