Here's another unusual one. It's a MATS Douglas C124 of about 1950 from FS-Design Berlin. It comes with its own panel but you need to add Mike hambly's DC-6 sounds. It has an opening nose and a nose ramp as befits its MATS role.

It's a bit tricky to fly but you expect that from an old 'un

But it looks really good in the air

...

Approach needs around 150kts with full flap and it really looks the part

...

I found I floated a bit but my approach was a little bit high

...

But I touched down almost fully stalled and easily stopped in time

...

One I really recommend. I got it from PlaneSimulation , I don't know whether we have it here but the designers have a website at www.fsdesign-berlin.da.ru / www.fsdesign-berlin.de.vu

BTW

Check out the site - it's got some really great models on it.
