I've always thought thats stupid cause they also come down at a pretty high velocity to.

I've often wondered about something like this happening. Hope it doesn't catch on here, fireworks are bad enough. If you're going to do this sort of thing I suppose it's a tad safer celebrating outdoors. I suppose it was only a matter of time before they hit something flying overhead.  Roll Eyes

Hehehe. Only a matter of time before something like that happens. In Mogadishu, they have a nice covered market place. The roof of that has millions of bullet holes in it due to celebrations. Tongue

Warning: Before flying over Serbian wedding parties get armour plating fitted. If no armour plate is handy sit on a 1/4 inch thick steel tray or something similar.

They go up and then they come down again. The velocity they reach comming down is just as fast as when they went up so they are just as deadly. Its not unknowen for people to be killed by falling bullets in that part of the world.
