The Date From Hell...(NO NOT ME!!! lol) (Read 625 times)

Just had a friend send me this and I thought you guys might wanna hear about it and feel sorry for the guy.

Enjoy it (even though you probably can't Tongue)
ONCE AGAIN, this is NOT me. Lol. I'm a Freshmen, just wait 'til Homecoming for MY stories! Shocked Wink

First, a little background info: It was about two months before the prom. I'd decided I was gonna go with my best friend, whom I've known since I was, like, six. But before I could ask her, Sarah (another close female friend) asked me if I'd take her friend from another school instead. Sarah told me her friend Diane was single, attractive, and funny as hell. So I thought about it, and decided I'd take Diane. I figured there might be the chance for romance between me and Diane, so I gladly decided to meet her. Besides, the friend I was originally gonna take found someone else to go with. Because Diane was competing in some swimming tournament, I didn't get to meet her until about two weeks before the prom. I talked to her COUNTLESS times via IMs, e-mail, and her cell phone, but I never got a chance to meet her. I already bought the tickets ($110) and put a down-payment on a tux ($80), and I hadn't even met my date!! Luckily, I finally met Diane, and she was everything my friends promised me she'd be (beautiful, FUNNY, and she had a great personality). The first time I met her, I was with a group of maybe five or six other people. We went to the movies and then wandered around the mall, just talking for hours. However, after the date, there wasn't a kiss. Nothing at all...just a hug. I figured it was a little weird, but if she didn't wanna kiss me after the "first date," I'm cool with that. Besides, I thought to myself, she must feel uncomfortable kissing in front of all of our mutual friends. So, after talking to her on the phone and over AIM, we made another date, and this time it would just be the two of us. We went to the movies, then played mini-golf, then went out for ice cream. After the date, I walked her to her front door. She was being VERY flirtatious throughout the evening, holding hands, rubbing my leg while I was driving, hugging me as I putted...everything but kissing. So the end of the date comes, and once again, we're at her front door. ONCE AGAIN...she hugs me. Another date, another hug. Hmmmmm. We talked either on the phone or online EVERY SINGLE DAY leading up to the prom. It was during this time that she said to me, "I really enjoy spending time with you, and I've been using these past two dates to feel more comfortable with you." I told her that was awesome and that I felt the same way. Then she said, "Hopefully, we'll become a true item -- boyfriend-girlfriend -- after the prom." I told her I was definitely fine with that. I mean, she was an awesome, attractive girl who enjoyed spending time with me. I'd gladly wait for the prom to kiss her. The prom was a BLAST! We had so much fun. The evening went off perfectly. We laughed so hard at each other's jokes that after awhile my face started to hurt. Also, we definitely looked like a couple. We danced as close as humanly possible. Even when we were just walking around, I had my arm over her shoulder and she had her arm around my waist. The only thing that didn't happen...a KISS! Not even a peck on the cheek! We were a couple, dammit -- we should at LEAST be kissing! (And don't think I didn't make my move, 'cause I did. She just didn't respond, or she pretended like she didn't notice.) After the prom, I drove her back to her house. It wasn't my choice to drive, but she insisted on not taking a limo, and also, being only 17, I had to get home before midnight -- so no parties. /sad/ ) Being the gentleman that I am, I opened and closed the door, and even took her hand and helped her out of my car. We walked to her front door. (Again, I had my arm around her shoulder and her arm was wrapped around my waist). We were standing around talking, mostly about how much fun we both had. I made my move. I leaned in for the kiss...and she kinda spun around it (a spin move that would make Barry Sanders envious), patted me on the back, and said, "Alrighty, it was fun. Call me when you get home. Bye-bye!" Just like that. I was kinda in shock that she would blatanly rejected her "boyfriend" like that, so I'm a little mad and decide not to call her. The following afternoon, I checked my voice-mail. "Hey Johnny boy, it's Diane. I can't WAIT to see you again. Call me when you get this...toodles!" So, I called her. This would be the last time I heard her voice. "Hey sweetie!" she answered, sounding cheerful and happy. We talked for a little while, and I asked her if she wanted to go catch a movie and maybe dinner (I really never specified when). That was when everything came crashing down. "Ummm...I don't think that's such a hot idea," she said to me. I got kinda pissed. "What do you mean, 'That's not such a hot idea'? First you spin-move your way out of a kiss last night, now you basically just said you don't wanna go out. Just what kind of couple are WE? We are a couple...RIGHT?!?!?!" I would have kept going on and on...but she stopped me. "Look, before you go any further, I have to stop you. I have to stop 'us,' and I have to stop pretending." Now I was both mad and confused at the same time. "What is it? TELL ME," I kinda yelled at her. And here is EXACTLY what Diane said to me: "John, you're an awesome guy. You are SOOO damn funny and you're such a nice guy. But I have to be honest with you. ARGH -- you're gonna hate me forever -- I don't wanna go out with you. [Long sigh.] I was just pretending to want to go out with you so you'd take me to your school's prom. I just really wanted to hang out with my friends that go to your school. I'm really sorry that I led you on. If I didn't lead you on, you would have never taken me to the prom." So, now I was completely pissed off, and I probably cursed at her a lot. But it gets even better: "John, I have a boyfriend already -- I've had one for almost eight months now. He knew I was pretending to go out with you, and he was fine with it. I'm SURE that if you knew I had a boyfriend before the prom, you wouldn't have taken me, and I REALLY wanted to go. Again, I'm sorry, but I don't want to date you. I'm already taken." Well, at least I know why she never wanted to kiss me...HER BOYFRIEND didn't approve. I told her that basically, I thought she did was low, and that I couldn't see myself being friends with someone like her. I tried to be civil and understanding, but I'm sure I slipped in a couple profanities. She said "Sigh. I guess I can live with that." So that was the last time I spoke to her, but she IMed me once or twice on AIM, and I told her the same thing: I couldn't be friends with someone like her. After spending nearly two months talking with this girl that I thought I had so much in common wit, and after spending nearly $400 on the damn prom, it was all a set-up. I spent a good deal of cash to take someone else's girlfriend to MY prom. Now THAT'S a horror story

Sounds like this girl will make a great stripper some day.

In case you are not familiar with the way strippers work, they make guys think they are really interested in them so the fellow will spend tons of cash on overpriced drinks and lap dances.
I know this because when I was single, I loved to go watch...umm...exotic dancers...constantly.

I admit I got duped a few times before I wised up to their game, after which I would never buy lap dances or drinks for any of the ladies, well these girls all talk to each other in the dressing room of course, so the word got around the club I spent most of my time at that I wasn't an easy scam. So the girls who were serious career strippers stayed away from me, but some of the girls just liked to hang out and talk to me, probably because I wasn't into groping or trying to feel them up or making comments about their bodies. I was just there because I love beautiful women, and the less clothes the better in my opinion.

It turns out that I ended up becoming really good friends with a lot of those girls, and even casually dated some of them, so I got the inside scoop on the whole stripper trade, these girls (at least most of them) are not hookers or sluts, they are making big money off of guys dumb enough to not figure it out and sit there spending their money on some chick that's basically a good actress, and a lot of these girls are paying their way through college this way, I love strippers, strippers are my friends.

                                                            ...

Anyway, my point is, the girl in Saratogas story is well on her way to making a fortune in the exotic dancer biz, she already is showing great talent in the art of deception, in case you haven't noticed most women have a natural talent for this.
It can't possibly be that as men we make it easy for them considering where women are concerned we sometimes usually think with the wrong head now can it?

DUDE....... Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided

If a girl ever does that to me (and I find out), I would dump her faster than you can open your wallet. Angry I wouldn't even bother with being friends.

However, I would chose to be single for as long as can. Having a girlfriend is expensive. So, I would chose to build up my income high enough to go dating. Grin

Yeah women some times think its ok to play with guys heads, thats why I dont truse to many of them.  I have a friend that is the most beautiful young lady I have ever lade eyes on plus shes sweet as can be.  She always tells me that she fells like shes using me but I find my self asking who is really using who me or her.  Theres just something about her that makes me fell different, an when she looks me in the eyes I melt.  Money has nothing to do with if a girl likes you or not it all comes down to you, me an my friend spend hours walking aroung the city at night just talking an when she crys im right there to wipe the tears from here eyes (I think this is what they mean when they say money cant buy you happiness).  You hafe to find a lady that makes you fell afraid, happy, hope-less, all at once an then you know you have found something real... You guys, No. Not all girls are like that. This guy needs to know there WILL be another girl out there, and she wont be like Diane. Some girls are bîtches. Lets face it, some people are so self centered that they can care less about other people, as long as they are happy first themselves. Some, don't care even after they are happy. Don't take it too personally, there will always be the one that doesn't care about you.

Eh heh heh. . . No, don't go around slashing tires - do what my supervisor jokes about. If you are in a parking lot, and you find a spot, but some fool takes the space, there is a product out there that locks the wheel, so it cannot turn. Better yet, connect the battery directly to the steering wheel.
