Well, here are pics of one of the human models I made. This is female figure made in Gmax. It has a polygon count that can equal a plane's poly count.

...

...

As you can notice, the ears are not there. The ears are one of the hardest things to make. Especially if you are planning to apply the Meshsmooth modifier to it.

The model has been made entirely with Gmax.

The body has been made out of a simple box (low-poly modeling) that has been extruded on certain places to make the arms and legs.

The head has also been made out of a simple box. It was later attached to the body so that it will make smooth, seamless model. Then I added the Meshsmooth modifier to give it the fememine figure.

The shirt was made out of a cylinder and the pants was made out of a box as usual.

There is a website that can teach you how to do this.

Note: The author uses 3Ds Max. So, his tutorials can be used for Gmax. But only Gmax and 3Ds Max.

What about human figures?

Katahu   nice job.  Now if someone could cook up a building to put them in, we might have start.

Here's an afterthought....what if the residents of the board had to nominate people to put an aircraft in, sort of like a "Hall of Fame" sorta deal?  That might make it a bit more special.  Say you had to have 10 resident votes in order to be allowed to park something special to you....

Sounds like a good idea, letting the residents form an oversight committy would help give the selection process a uniformity that could keep down arguments, and assure quality aircraft.

Buildings are easy to make. They're just made out simple boxes. If you have read the tutorial on how to make a house for scenery, then you're set to start.

I don't do houses or other buildings because they are too easy for me. I'm a modeler who loves to make complex things. From flyable planes to awsome-looking cars. From human figures to significant weapons.

I can do houses and hangars. But when it comes to making certain things like a runway, or taxiways, wind-socks, landable surfaces, etc., I suck.  Tongue
