Doug, he did get sent away for a year for re-training, odd that within a week of his return to TV we got hit by another hurricane. Do you think Mr. Fish is a weather phenomenon?

I remember it well too Doug, we couldn't go to school, as nearly all the windows had been destroyed, and we lived in Buckinghamshire!!! Nothing like as bad as what you guys on the coast were getting.

This idiot had previously made fun of a worried woman who rang in enquiring about it. If you watch the vid from the lower link you can see what he actually said. I was woken by the strong winds & so worried I went downstairs to listen to the radio. The weathermen were still saying, don't worry it's no more than a gale. Well, they obviously hadn't bothered to look outside as I was there & knew the difference between a 60 mph breeze & a full blown hurricane, (Apparently it wasn't technically a hurricane as it was in the Northern hemisphere.) Then there was a blinding flash & explosion from the nearby substation as the power went. No more radio. I spent the next few hours in candle-light strumming furiously on my guitar in an effort to drown out the sound of the storm. There was a brief lull which I imagine was the eye passing through & then it started all over again. This time I knew almost exactly what I was in for. I half expected the chimney to come crashing through the roof at any moment.

This was the most frightening experience I've ever had in my life & that fool never had the grace to apologise. If it had happened during the day I dread to think how many people would have died as a result of his incompetence.

I have the greatest respect for you guys in the US & other countries who suffer from this sort of thing regularly.
