If there is no airport nearby follow these instructions.

1.  Trim for straight and level.

2.  Open canopy.

3.  Undo harness.

4.  Undo Zipper.

5.  Stand on seat.

6.  Umm, perform business.

7.  Sit back down.

8.  Do up Zipper.

9.  Do up Harness.

10.  Close canopy.

11.  Continue flight.

And if you plane has no canopy the same rules apply with just a tiny difference:

1.  Trim for straight and level.

2.  Undo Zipper.

3.  Open can o pee.

4.  Umm, perform business.

5.  Close  can o pee.

6.  Do up Zipper.

7.  Continue flight.

Well those list are fine if your in the Beriot X1.  But not a P-47 at 300 feet going 370mph!   Cheesy  I if I stood up I'd whined up face down dead in the sand with my pants around my ankles!  The bottle idea is fine, but what about #2?  huh?

Wait, this is a simulator.  I could trim it for level flight, get up, walk to the bathroom thats 20 feet to right of me, and do my business there!!

I was wondering, how do you plan your routes and stops? I mean do you takeoff an airport with a destination and a flight plan submitted or you just takeof? What about the next flight then? Do you submit a second plan for the new journey from the menu?
Finally how do you decide where to make the next stop, I mean knowing the distance the fuel needed etc.

I am asking as I am planning to start my own flight around the world.

The only sections that really require planning are the long distance over water parts.  Getting across the pacific and Atlantic can be tricky.

I fly all my RTW stuff in VFR, with the Baron. I don't make a flightplan, and I've tried to avoid using the GPS as much as possible. I'll look at the map and decide where I want to go to, and then track the VORs and NDBs until I get there.

As for fuel.....fill it up anytime there's a large amount of distance to be covered!

This applies to those using Tipster's (John Consterdine's) Baron panel in the KingAir.

I found a pretty good fix for the airspeed indicator redlining.  I substituted the KingAir's airspeed indicator as follows (your gauge number may be different):

The original panel.cfg reads:

gauge26=beech_baron2!Airspeed Indicator,  115,146,133,133

This is a pretty good fix using the same size gauge:

gauge26=Kingair!Airspeed,   115,146,133,133

But I think this one looks a little better:

gauge26=Kingair!Airspeed,   111,145,139,137

I also airbrushed out the upper right screw in BaronB58_1024.bmp, so the final panel looks like this

...

The KingAir is a sweet aircraft.  I got it to cruise at 305k at FL300.

I like to right my flight times based on the clock on my wall.  When I pause it, I need to right down the time I stopped, and when I start up again, I need to right that time.

I do that too.  I'm on the east coast and when I fly in California FS always wants to put me 3-4 hours behind.  Just go into World/Time & Season and reset the clock.
