The most involving freeware addon I've ever seen.  Tons of manuals, huge preflight and great fligth dynamics.  If I were doing a RTW in a prop it would be this.

Yep, I noticed the airspeed indicator problem with the RTW panel on the 350...any fixes anyone?

Thanks.  I'm downloading the Fanda now (DSL, thankfully).

The only problem with using the Baron's airspeed indicator with the 350 is that is isn't designed for that speed.  I'll let you know if I find a good gauge to swap.

There are so many 'point and go' aircraft in FS, I don't regard flying as getting into an F16, lighting the afterburner and pushing 9g turns, I've got a Playstation for that, flying like anything worth pursuing is rigmarole and the rigmarole is what makes the Fanda Dash so good, so real and so unique as far as freeware addons go. 

When I first got fs95 I was hoping for rigmarole, after all that is what should be 'as real as it gets', not jet fighter aerobatics.

I've installed it but the rigmarole may take a while.  All I could see when I loaded it up was a screen full of radios and gauges.  Now I have to RTFM.

I started a RTW flight once.  I got a map from a race site, did a few legs, then got bored with it.

The biggest problem seemed to be the next landing site - deciding where to go and getting all the airport information.

I've tried a lot of the fun sites - Nepal, the crater in Peru - bou mostly I fly the same old routes near home (Florida) with different aircraft.  Key West, Miami, Ft. Liquordale, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, Atlanta, and a few in California (KLAX, KSFO).  Some of the European routes are nice but I don't know how far anything is from anything else so I don't know whether I'm setting up a half hour flight or a 2 hour flight.

I suppose a RTW could include a stop off in Antartica to complete the continents.  Could be a rough landing though without any airstrips.

Don't think I'd try a RTW flight just yet.  As some of you may know, I'm flying around the coast of the US in FS2k2.  Before that the longest flight I had ever flown was a 3 hour one in a 747. 

I couldn't stand the thought of flying long hours in a ugly, slow, civilian plane!  So, I chose a P-47N, for range, speed, and pretty looks.  So far I have made it to Anchorange Alaska in 15 legs, and nearly 20 hours, and all on the deck!  I fly in real time, but not real weather, and I only use autopilot when I have to use the bathroom.   

I'm going to try a RTW flight after I get back to Columbia Co. Airport, in good ol' New York, home sweet home.

And what if I'm in the middle of Death Valley, or the Alaskan wilderness with no where to land and no airports for miles?     I nearly ran out of fuel looking for an airport in the deserts outside of California.  And It's not like I can land anywhere...I need so much runway to get that Jug off the ground.
