PHOENIX (AP) - A helicopter crashed Saturday near the Grand Canyon, killing all seven people on board.
The chopper crashed at 12:55 p.m. after departing from Grand Canyon West Airport, said Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Diana Joubert.
The helicopter was headed to the bottom of the canyon when it crashed, she said. The victims were not immediately identified.
The National Transportation Safety Board was investigating the accident.
