I get an error that says my "a6-m2 cannot be found so mission cannot be loaded"

Slim. This file name is not familiar. I'm almost sure it's not used in any of our campaigns. It's possible this is either a default file or a scenery object from other 3rd party scenery you have installed.

First off, it doesnt show up in my campagns

As with all our files I checked the auto-install personally on a virgin install of CFS2 before posting it. If you used the auto-install the CFS2 Korean Campaign 2: Bunker Hill should be listed under American. You might need to add a pilot to access the campaign.

Then it loads and works fine, but I cant get the map to show current mission or advanced info after mission starts.

The map won't show unless you edit Airbases.dat. In fact using Avanced Info without doing this usually causes a crash to desktop. This is explained in the Readme & posted on the FAQ page. http://www.simviation.com/lair/cfs2kwfaq.htm
We included a ready-modified Airbases.dat with the campaign. To use it, paste our Airbases.dat file into the CFS2\Info folder. Back up the existing file first.

There's really no point in adding more 3rd party stuff if your CFS2 is already messed up. This will possibly make things even worse.  A common cause of errors is exceeding the CFS2 "100 plane" limit. Installing campaigns like ours will add a lot of extra aircraft. We strongly recommend using a duplicate install of CFS2 for our Korea & similar campaigns.

Hope this puts you on the right track.

A second install is really a great idea, but where would I installit? I cant put it in Programs/M$ games could I? Can I just put it in the "Programs" folder alongside the "microsoft games folder"?

Slim. All this is explained on the Fox Four FAQ page. I already gave you the link in my pevious reply. http://www.simviation.com/lair/cfs2kwfaq.htm

CFS2 "100 PLANE" LIMIT.

A considerable number of extra aircraft will be installed to run the campaigns. Depending on the number of 3rd party aircraft you already have installed this could take you over the CFS2 "100 plane" limit & cause problems. This can be fixed by dragging a few existing addons into a Hangar subfolder within the CFS2\Aircraft directory. Please be careful not to remove default aircraft or those others might be aliased to.

By far the best method is to use a duplicate install of CFS2 specifically for this & similar campaigns.

DUPLICATE INSTALL of CFS2 (or any other MS sim)

To do this, simply rename the existing CFS2 root directory folder to any other name.
Then insert the CD & install in the usual way.
You will now have two separate versions of CFS2 which will run independently.

I've taken great care in an attempt to cover common problems. I update the page to add fixes for others as they crop up. Please take time to read it. We want you to enjoy our work - not have dissatisfied customers. Wink

You can have as many "duplicate" installs of CFS2 as you wish. If you have further problems please mail one of us from the Contact page. You will get personal attention much quicker that way.

Glad you fixed it. Have fun. Wink

PS. If your original (renamed) CFS2 is messed up you can keep it as a backup or safely remove it by deleting the complete folder. That's after transferring all those addons of course. I used to run 4 separate versions of CFS2.
