PLEASE HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP!!!!


I've downloaded all the softwares required to fly with VATSIM (Squawkbox 2.3.5 for FS 2002, SBhost.dll that i put in FS2002 modules, roger wilco).
I start the procedure to get connected: I launch the internet, then FS2002, then make that step by step until the moment i click the "join" button (normally, the last thing before the Squawkbox windiw should open and before I should click on "get into action"). 
SO once i've entered the IP and clicked on "Join", I have a window which says that Squawkbox.exe has encountered a problem and must close!!! If i go back to my FS2002 window, There is the SBHost window which is "fixed" and you can't do anything to close it or move it unless you close FS2002.

Has anyone an idea of what's going on?? 
I feel so frustrated to fail at THAT step, just before i can get connected..Thanx to you for your help!!!

The one I have now is the 2.97 version. I had tried the 2.7 version too, but same result as before 

I've the squawk box 2.3.5 version, is it necessary to install an older version before installing 2.3.5 (I have FS2002)???

There's an awesome tutorial on connecting to VATSIM at the VATSIM site, under the "getting started" section.  I can't remember what it's called, but you'll know it when you see it.  Good luck!  VATSIM is awesome.

I know Hyperion, but I still have the same problem and nothing is said in case of problems w/ SB2.3.5 that's the saddest thing!!
