Hi fela's,
I know I've asked this once before, but was wondering if anyone lately has come up with an answer on how I can adjust FS2002 to increase the intesity of the runway lights at night time.
ATC guides me to early final at appox. 10 Miles out, and asks me to "Report The Runway In Site" but no matter how hard I look, I can't see the damm thing!!!!
Until I report the runway in sight, I can't descend. (Hoping descending will give me a better chance of seeing the runway).
Tried everything, I'm starting to get a bit frustrated.
Any suggestions/advice would be most appreciated..
Thanks in advance

I think there is an addon out there somewhere (here at SimV) that does just what you are looking for. Just search for something like "Brighter Runway Lights" or something like that.

Thanks Ender,
I had that program and re-installed it to find it made no difference. It got that bad, I didn't care anymore and took the risk to modify the bitmap in the root FS Texture flie.
After editing the bitmap, I now can see the runway lights from 3500 ft at about 5 nm out. Even further if I wanted to re-edit it again.
All I did was open the bitmap in DXTBmp and sent it to my paint editor, once I finished reloaded it into DXTBmp and saved.
Lights are now real bright.
I just wish I would of thought of doing this a long time ago!
The down side is, I haven't fine tuned the bmp as yet, all lights in FS are big and bright, But hey, I can live with that!!!
Thanks again
