Here's a unique one.  I've never seen this asked before.  lol

I installed Edit Voice Pack the other day, hoping to do basically what it's designed to do, and when I ran the program, it opened LITERALLY 48 times on my computer.  (What a pain getting it off there, too!  lol)

Has this happened to anyone, and if so, is there a fix for it?  I'd love to get my VA name in the AI ATC...

Thanks!

I downloaded the voice pack the other day Hyp.  I read in the instructions that you can only make complete new packs, you cannot add to or edit the existing ones.  This in my opinion means a little too much time taken recording yourself saying airport names LOL.

Good luck anyway, PS if the SDK's are 1% as bugged as the lessons you're bound to have problems.

Who switched the lights off?  I can't see a thing.......  Hold on, my eyes were closed.  Oops, my bad...............&&...

Scott,

You might consider re-installing your Windows.Net framework - that is, if doing so won't effect other programs you might be using with that framework........

Yep, I did this prior to installing EVP, because it wouldn't install without me doing so.  lol

Oh well.  I prefer VATSIM anyway, but sometimes I don't feel like it.  lol

You do not have to create a whole new vcoiepack. You just add names to what you already have.

"EditVoicepack is a utility designed to update the available words used by the ATC in Flight Simulator 2002 by combining existing words." -EditVoicepack User's Guide

I have had great fun adding names to airports, ie "FedEx Ground" for runway and parking on north end of KMEM, "Nashville South Tower" and for general aviation arrivals, "Nashville General Aviation" for gen aviation ground control.

I just build the name from existing phrases, and tell editvoicepack what the name is used for.

It would seem that I misunderstood the instructions!  I will have to look into this more deeply when I have time.  Thanks for correcting me and apologies to all I have mislead.
