hi,

something new here: Ice landing with a 747 at Antarctica  8). this wasn't possible in FS2002 but with FS2004 you get some airports in Antarctica. did i say airports? actually i mean some ice runways...some of them in the middle of the sea!

the ones i used are 10000ft long...but you need every inch to stop your heavy...with full autobrakes, trust reversers and spoilers, the planes need the full length!! nice ice-simulation M$!

I'd feel more comfortable landing a single-engine prop on that thing!  Shocked

Nice....Does the plane actually slide around like it would on ice when you try to turn?

when you try to turn and brake with differential brakes, it just keeps going straight...

Grin Grin Grin  Looks like an ice pan, shaped like a runway, floating in the water

Nice shots, nicer landing  lol

Now try landing the AN225, will the ice pan sink?
