I down loades the AC 520 twin prop, but when I installed it it had no Vor guagues and a blank space for GPS. The designer of this Plane has no e-mail to contact him. So how do I install guages that are missing or forgotten? Does this mean I have to desgin a new panel myself which I can not do?
I love to fly ILS and Nav things so I need proper guages Please help. JG

It's difficult to comment without more information. From what you're saying some gauges are missing from the panel. If this is the award winning AC 520 by Milton Shupe, Scott Thomas and Andre Folkers make sure you installed all the gauges correctly. These include an XML gauge named ST_560.cab. Paste ST_560.cab directly into your FS2002\Gauges folder. (CAB files look like zipfiles but do NOT extract them.) That should fix the problem.

Check out their FAQ page here. http://www.flightsimonline.com/ac520/

Thanks for your suggestion but they didn't work.

I used my seach program and could not find the ST_560CAB file.

I down loaded this AC520v19 by Milton, Shupe... form Surclaro.com and Beyta forge both to see if I droppen any files on my slow ISLP. But both times I went to check the panel out they both were misising the Vor and GPS, does this plane only use ADF for nav?

Maybe I sould have not used the addon manger and manually put the addon in my Pro Flight 2002.

Any helps for this plane or should I wait and try install it in FS 2004?

Thanks for your help, I love flying ILS and Nav points JG.

I think this is the answer. I suspect some addon manager utilities don't recognise CAB files as gauges & try to extract them. Take my advice & learn to install this stuff manually.

I notice there are several different versions of this aircraft. It's possible they don't all include the extra nav-aids.

I must applogize for taking up your time on my Vor problems, it seems that I had it all the time that is the guage but didn't recognize it, for it looks like a HSI with an airplane in the middle, but it turned out to be the Vor1. But now how do I use this to stay on the glide slope with no horizonal line indicators, does that red light on mean I am on the glide scope, any help here?
Thank You, this is a great pane the AC 520 even with out a GPS.

As a mad bush pilot I can't help with using the nav-aids. You said in your original question that there's "a blank space for the GPS". This doesn't sound right. Pity it's a big download or I would check it out for you. I'm surprised it has no GPS on a pop-up window like the defaults. If it doesn't have one you can add it yourself. Check out my tute. http://www.simviation.com/lair/AddGPS.htm

PS. I just realised the version you have is for FS2004. The default GPS has a different name to the one in FS2002. You should be able to fix that panel for FS2002 by changing the gauge name in the GPS Panel.cfg entry. It should look something like this.

[Window02]
size_mm=150,250
position=8
BACKGROUND_COLOR=16,16,16
VISIBLE=0
ident=GPS_PANEL
gauge00=gps!gps,0,0,150,250

It might be better to download the FS2002 version of the aircraft.

It worked adding GPS per your instructions, thank you so very much, glad you reply to questions so many don't.

Now I hope I can transfer this plane to FS 2004 when I get it.

Since you like bush piloting have you ever flown the Waco Classic, its a great biplane, fly it in the mountains form Easton State Washington to Ranger Creek Washington. Fly 210 degrees from Easton State and by the time you get to 8000 feet its to the right.
