I have been using my keyboard to fly all the aircraft included with Flight Simulator.  I have never used a joystick or anything else. I have noticed that with the keyboard, I have trouble controlling planes during landings and turns etc., does the same happen with a joystick? What is a good joystick for flying??

I wouldn't know about that as I've never had one, but any joystick would be better then the keyboard, imo.

I've got an older MS Sidewinder precision pro, not the best, but it works Grin

I'd get a stick, when my old stick broke down I could fly using the keyboard, but it wasn't a joyous experience.
I'm running an M$ stick, and I'm v.happy.

you don't even need an expensive joystick. i use a six year old Logitech Wingman Light (only two buttons) and it still works.

??? ??? ??? ???

I've got a MS Force Feedback Pro Joystick which I've had for quite awhile now. In addition to the FS2002, CFS1 and CFS3, I added the Strike Fighter, and IL2 flight simulator games to my PC archive. Do I make button assignments from the joystick Option, or from individual games. So far the only thing that works right is the flight control and the throttle, my problem is the assignment of the views, and the ordinance. Is there a trick to this?
