If you could only meet one person here at SimV, who would it be?
I'm having a really hard time settling down on one, because there are so many of you I'd like to meet in person and have a beer with.
I think I'd have to pick Fozzer though, as much as there are so many others. Fozzer because I'm dying to know if his offline personality is as hilarious as it is online.
However, the others would include (in no particular order):
Ken and Wendy
Will and Sarah
Ozzy
Paz
Pete
Brensec
gilbates
Andrew Esselbach (soda for you!)
Fly2e (Dave)
megastever
Mr. Bones
CraigL
Ender_Baron
I'm sure there are others, but I'm not thinking clearly. I'll add to the list as I think of them. lol

I'm planning to meet up with Will and Sarah , Roger might come too, and Fozzer can't make it....
Anyone fancy meeting up in London in mid-Oct for a few glasses of umm err horlicks?
Oh and Ken has v.kindly offered me the use of a tent in his back garden if I get stuck in his neck of the woods.
I'd really like to meet Romulus, as we chat a lot, and I think if we got together the results would be riotous. I mean laughing till we're sick funny
Heck I'd like to meet you all and have a right good laugh, we'd need an aircraft carrier or something to squeeze us all on, and have planes available... Then Andrew could show us how an F-14 is really flown. In fact I'd nominate him for being in charge of the fairground rides
I'd also really like to get back down under and meet up with SV, Poly, and of course my great mate Brensec. Champion geezer of Sydney

Well, I'm meeting Ozzy in October but Fozzy has to be near the top of the list.
Other than that the list looks pretty similar to Hyp's.
I definately owe Hagar a pint as well lol, talk about saviour...

If only one, then it would have to be Pete, without a doubt. Pete, if you come to Chicago, I'll buy you lunch at Berghoff's and show you some REAL American cooking. The restaurant has been in business almost 130 years and owned by the same family.
I'm not going any farther than that, because I don't want to hurt anyone's feeling by leaving them out...

It's all about the disclaimer, Pippin. LOL I know I forgot people that I'd REALLY like to meet someday, but there are just so many that I'm not even seeing who I've inadvertently excluded. So I'm adding to it as I go on. (I've even gone one step further...when I add a name, I mix up the original list so it doesn't look like I've just put the bottom name on the list. lol)

Contrary to popular belief I do have my own identity. 8)
In the early days of this forum some people used to think Pete & I were the same person. Maybe they still do. LOL
What I find worrying is that I generally agree with dear old Fozzer. We rarely argue unless he deliberately tries to wind me up. I must be getting old.

The question is do you really want to meet my dad?
I'm not going to post the shot I got last night of Fozzer with the deformed cucumber! All I can say is that it made me laugh, but I'm one sick individual, and having a good knowledge of medical matters, it really did look like a nasty hybrid of leprosy, gangerine and jaundice in a strange place...........

Awesome, ANOTHER rumor started. Two actually.
Now Fozzer isn't real, or is he?
He's Ozzy's dad, or is he?
Pete and Hagar are one, or are they?
This place is GREAT!
(FYI, Hagar..I know you guys are two different people, but very frequently, I'll get you confused. LOL)

Finally a guestion that I can answer!
If I could meet anyone from this site, I would really like to meet Mr. and Mrs. Banks in person. From the posts that I have read from both of them they are very kind caring people whom I respect.

P.S. We would get together and laugh at the soap opera that the place has become since the "incident"

Well I have always had the mind that if given the chance, I would love to take a run down the twisties with Fozz, but with things being as they are now, I may have to change my vote and say that the one I would really like to get to know better is that one named.....
...............
Stormy
.........
........and I only say that because I love the pic I have seen by her name and if given the chance, I think I could get her drunk and really rattle her bones !
........everyone else on here is in my circle, and so those who grab the first seats by the campfire, get closest to me and Wen............ 8)

For me, I think I would want to meet pete mainly because I would want to thank him in person for all of this but also because I want to know what he looks like.
He would closely be followed by Hagar-I think he would be a fun person to meet, just because of his vast knowledge and friendlyness.

I don't think I'd like to meet any of you because I seriously suspect you're all mental patients.
I probably have the most chance of meeting Rifleman because according to him, he always pops over to the Oakville Model Flying Club when ever he's in my neck of the woods. I probably would never recognize him.
I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday.

All being well and work permitting, I hope to meet up with Mark and Will in October, but I'd also love to meet:
Ken and Wendy, I think they would be great fun to know and Ken and I share a hobby with our R/C planes.
Professor Brensec, such a grat chap with whom I have exchanged many posts. Also, a fellow Trek fan!
Hagar, I learn so much from Hagar every time I read his posts.
Woodlouse, I'm sure we could argue all night about Spitfires and Hurricanes
I consider you all friends, so if I've missed you out, it's nothing personal, I love you all

I've never taken a good picture in my life. Besides, I don't have any digital shots of myself and my scanner doesn't work. I guess your going to come after me with cameras blazing now.

I thought I replied in here last night, but maybe I didn't press the right button or something.
From SimV (which seems to be where everyone is selecting their lists), I would say the following. Not because they I think they're nicer or better, just because they are the ones I have a picture of in my head, because I have spent time talking to them either on Forum or IM, and found we have things in common or things to talk about.
Ozzy - Although I've seen his photo here, he doesn't look like a Pommy, in fact, he could almost be a Aussie.
There you go mate, 'Honorary Australian".
Hawker - Star Trekkin' across the Universe, I could also hear him tell me in person how great the Hurri really is.....lol
Andrew E - So I could pat him on the head and say "there, there"....lol
Hagar - So we caould have 'intellectual discussions about the two flies walking up the wall.
Woody - So he I could be really sure about whether the Spitfire was a plane that could be developed way after all the others were dead and gone.
Stormy and Rifle - So I could make sure they're real..........whoops...lol
Pete - Because I have to say that!...........
Ric B - So I could thank him personally for the FS2002 he sent me when he got his FS2004, avery nice man.
Hype - To see what all the fuss is about...............lol
Pippin, Felix and Bman - Because you have to crawl up Mods Bums..............lol (did I say that?)
Foz - Because I don't know any 'Ol farts', love to meet one.
Paz - To compare 'Rock'n'Roll stories.
Smoke - Seems like we have a few things in common.....lol
I know there are others who. I hope, aren't upset that I didn't include them, but the truth is, I'd really like to meet everyone...........

I know Andrew. Your very intelligent and mature for your age. Which incidentally, is now considered, officailly adult in many places now anyway.
I don't seem to be having a very good couple of days. This is the second time I have inadvertantly upset someone. I'm sorry mate. I was playing silly buggers.
You are in fact, one of the people I would most like to meet from here. We have some things in common. And from what I have managed to learn from your posts, you face some difficult circumstances with a degree of courage and determination that one wouldn't see in a child...........................

Those pics of Wendy don't bother me, it's seeing Fozzer's cucumber that's giving my nightmares...
You're not wrong, I actually dreamt about it last night.
Fozzer was chasing me around a kitchen with a carving knife, singing "Three blind mice, three blind mice....."
I couldn't outrun the 'ol bugger in a wheelchair, so I made a deal with him. "Spare me and I make you a nice big dinner............on a plate an' all!."
He obviously likes his food more than his err...............ahh

My theory is that Fozzer is an escaped mental patient. Reminds me of John and Loraina Bobbet. Story goes that Loraina cut off John's "Mr Happy" and ran off with it.

Wendymare?? Is this a 'surreptitious' reference to a recent controversial 'member'?
If it is, it should be
Wendy'mare

Didn't I say that already. I knew you were all mental patients.
This is probably a really dumb question but why did Kimber stick "mare" on the end of her name? Just curious.
I think Stormy is a better name for you than WENDY'MARE. I keep getting the image of you chasing poor Ken around the house with a rolling pin.

It's Pete! That's why you never see a picture of him, I have the proof now as the 'King of SimV' shook my hand earlier today congratulating me on becoming a resident:
