I'm planning on making a cargo version of the King Air.

I need to change the payload options so instead of showing 'passengers' it says cargo bay instead. It just wont seem the same when I go to sellect the payload to have to adjust weight of the passengers when it really should say cargo.

I looked around in the aircraft.cfg and couldn't find anything for changing the payload settings. Anybody know how to do this?

Also, I need to remove the windows from the aircraft. I thought I could just paint over them in the bitmap but no windows are in the bitmap image. Any ideas?

I will apreciate it.

Presuming you're talking about the default King Air,

You can try, in the aircraft.cfg file, changing the tags in the "Staion.load" section, from "passenger" to "cargo" and see if that changes the display in the aircraft selection screen.

As to the windows, you're stuck with them ...  they're built into the model.

Ok, I found how to change what it says in the payload options.. the only problem is I would want one king air model to be normal for passengers and the other for cargo.. I can't make 2 .cfg files for the same aircraft. So I would have to put a copy of everything in a new folder I guess.

I'm guessing the only way to get rid of the windows then is to model the plane from scratch in GMax then..
I guess this project idea is dead. The last airplane I tried to model in Gmax ended up looking like a pencil with wings. hehe.

Thanks for the info though.
