when i try and register GMAX for my computer which isnt linked to the internet and get the code and print it off it dosent let me continue and the code has a big cross by it ? what is up ???

The code doesn't do much, just tells the program to go ahead and look for the cookie it needs to tell it you have registered.

I myself have done what you are trying to do, and here is what you have to get:

Download the little thing here, and then just open it up on your other computer. The installation is simple, so try it.
