Hi; This is Kimber, We had dinner party tonight, and it
rained, so everyone has been watching TV and playing
cards and flying on the simulators, and reading the
forums! One of the guest would like to say a few words.
Hello to all;
I have known Brad all his life and Miss Kimber as long
as they have been togeather, it seems like a life time.
I have taken a long time tonight to read many of the
entrys on this forum, and am amazed at the level of
knowledge that many of you possess in the field of
aviation! I am even more amazed at the age of the
people here, I did not know there were 14/15 year
old people with such a passion for knowledge!!
You have renewed my faith in the youth of the
world, I wanted to say America, but this place is a
tribute to all the people of the world, all races, ages
and religions!!
I salute you!!

What a thoroughly nice bloke he is then! And he's right, I think you could post a question on here about anything and guarentee a link to a website about it being posted within two hours and a complete answer within six hours.
Aviation questions the same times apply but in minutes, not hours.

Thank you Bobby, for your kind words, from everyone here.
It's true that we all exchange knowledge about so many varied things it's quite amazing when you think about it.
There are School kids here who post problems about assignments or projects for School. University (college) students who consult the Forum for questions they are having difficulty with in their studies.
Also, of course, the many unending discussions regarding the characteristic, vices, advantages and general opinions about virtually any aircraft ever flown (or in the case of the odd one that was never flown.............).
Not to mention the analyses of every battle ever fought in Human History. (Especially air campaigns of WWII)
We have areas for Computer buffs to help those who are less learned and required the assistance of a PC 'geek' (affectionate term).
Even a haven for the family members, who are unfortunate enough to have spouses, parents or kids who are Simmers and have forgotten that their families exist (at least for a little while each day).
But the best part is, you won't find a friendlier place on Earth.
(That's because as soon as someone starts playing up - we kick 'em out................lol.....not true

Bad news, unfortunately, is what people want to see. It's like watching a Drama. Nobody wants to watch a movie where NOTHING happens! And because the news is business like any other(there in it for the money), they give the people what they want! So you might be inclined to think the world is a terrible place, if you watch the news every night. I lived in Japan in the eighties, and it was humorous to listen to the locals tell of the fears of visting the
US.......Most of us had AIDS!.......Crime was rampant.......the pollution wasn't much better! The TV is a powerful thing! You just need to step out on your local street to see the good in people. (Well...... maybe not here in South Florida!!) Just kidding, even here I see it.
I am impressed also at the younger members of this forum. Just recently, when we had the post to reveal your identity, I was surprised to see the age of some of the usual suspects that I've come to recognize here. Because of their level of expression and knowledge, I ASSUMED that they were older. Probably a good reason why aviation programs for youth are valuable tools, and why the turning a blind eye attitude to general aviation, in this country (ie: Meigs Field) is such a bad trend!
.....so I loaded up the plane and moved to Middle-EEEE..........OIL..that is......

Thank you, Kimber, for letting this person experience our little world. It is always nice to recieve feedback from someone that doesn't share our love of flying or simming. And when its GOOD feedback, so much the better.
Many wishes to Commissioner Hopper. Thank you from the entire Simviation forum . . .
