Aces High by Iron Maiden. Great song, great band.
Did you know that Bruce Dickinson, the lead singer, is a real airline pilot?

lol, you know he may have a point there, I don't know of any airline in the world that allows metal attire as part of the dress code for the crew, unless you plan to own your own airline someday.

Don't worry about him not diggin your tunes, my Dad never understood the "crap" I listened to either, fact is he is more in tune with todays music than he was when I was growing up, I guess having raised three more kids after me may have had some effect on him, I'm the oldest of 4.

You like AC/DC I salute you.

Whats your favourite song by those guys. I think Shoot to Thrill definately rocks. I remember being lucky enough to go to a concert of them and they are even better live than they are on CD's

When they started playing highway to hell everyone just started going mental at the front and it was f***ing brilliant.

It was a GREAT show and I guarantee that they are X-rated shows. This one wasn't to bad apart from the giant inflatable naked woman.

AC/DC ROCK. 8)

Hey Space,

I grew up in the Seventies, had my own 'Heavy Rock' band (it was never called heavy 'metal' then, that's a misnomer, created by the next generation  to try to separate themselves from the actual founders of the genre).
Anyone who grew up in the Seventies, especially in Australia had to like Accadacca. They were, before Bon Scott died the best we had. Although my choices for absolute best are Deep Purple (3rd generation), Led Zep. and 'Sabbath.

We realised, when the eighties arrived that there was more money in the The Beatles, which I find most 'heavy Rocj' fans like, to a degree anyway. So we started a Beatle's 'concept band' and did pretty well.

If your old man was into Travolta and the Bee Gees Disco sh*t during the Seventies, here in Australia, he probably wouldn't have survived and had you..............lol Grin Grin Wink

"Disco, did, and always will eff'n SUCK. It's what made our music so much more poignant in the Seventies. There was nothing but us, a very tired old Elvis and high voiced wankers. Oh and McCartney singing Jack and Jill songs, as usual" - Angus Young

Hey Paz,
What type of aircraft is Bruce licensed to flly?
That is pretty funny!

Anyway, Maiden just played here on Long Island at The Jones Beach Theatre. It is an outdoor stadium on the water overlooking the south shore waters. Nikko McBrain was charged with assault after he beat up the security guard because he did not have his ID on him and they would not let Nikko enter the stadium, so he slugged him!

ROCK ON!!!!
