im full of ideas today..heres my latest one

we set up a championship for air races pilots have a choice of 3 aircraft lets say 3 nearly identical performance wise eg spitfire mustang and corsair..not sure if there evenly matched....

we require a scenery designer to make a course like long sticks say 300 ft or so in the air that we fly around so many laps..we have a referee watching things making sure people dont cheat im thinking around a certain airport say meigs.

a certain number of races a month and all results go into a championship table on a website...lets say up to 20 or 30 pilots but not all racing at once obviously maybe 4 at a time....maybe set up 2 championships for usa and europe and the best of the best competein a tournament to find the fastest pilot in flight simulator...

this may sounds like the reno air races and its quite similar but we could incorporate some differences i dunno maybe pit stops that pilots have to take in the race may spice things up a little. these are just ideas flying out of my head as we speak but would be fun to set up..let me know if anyone is interested

Daz check out http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=Multi;action=display;num=1... looks like someone got ahead of you. They'll be running sessions in 2k2 and 2k4.

Daz, I'd also suggest going down to the "Your Site" discussion and giving the idea to the guys who are setting up "SARA" (Simulated Air Racing Association).  I'm sure they'd be interested in hearing it.

BTW, I need you to send me a private message through SimV...

Great edit, Bob.&&&&&&Google it. &&&&www.google.com
