Lost Corsair - help please (Read 144 times)

While mucking about and moving files around I seem to have lost my stock Corsair and Piper 180. I looked in the aircraft cab on the disc and searched the other discs but cannot figure out where they are. Would have thought they would have been there with the others.

Anyone know where they are located? I have FS2k2 Pro. Surely I am just overlooking something. Need help nonetheless.

Thanks

Oso. They should be in Aircraft.CAB on CD-1. You can open CAB files with WinZip & extract files in the usual way. You would need to identify all the files separately or extract the complete Aircraft.CAB to your HD. Then find the folders you want before deleting the rest.

Nope - extracted aircraft.cab once again and they are not there - did a search of all 3 discs and no results - what gives?

Sorry. I should have checked. Look in TYPICAL.CAB on CD-1.

That's where they be - thanks Hagar.

Who'd a thunk it? In the typical.cab instead of the aircraft.cab. Typical  Wink

The Corsair worked fine but the Piper does not. I have  not changed the file in anyway. But it does not show up in the aircraft selection area. I checked the ui lines in the config and they are  correct.

Any more thoughts?

LOL
The Piper is an AI Only drone like the Dash 8. To make it flyable open the AIR file in AirEd from the Aircraft Design section & change the Aircraft Type from 2 to 0. Then give it a Panel folder & alias the panel.cfg to the C182

Also the md_83. The AI drones look fine but don't have a DVC. Not sure if they fly too well.
