its been one of those days today.
Last night got no sleep thanks to a group of people partying till 4am (A-levels obviously were good)
then when i did get to sleep i woke up an hour later feeling crappy, i have been unable to concentrate at all today, and then i had a serious sugar dive(this is rare to me), but basically my sugar levels drop really low, i loose all strength and start shaking badly till its sorted, the last time i had one of those was when i was returning from america in sept 2001, we were eating out at a sandwhich place, and it hit, so i had to down 5 cans of coke before i got onto, plane only problem was that meant an 11 hour flight back constantly needing to use the bathroom:)
anyway, after that finally go's away, i was flicking TV channels get to the music ones, some new singer on there who looks exactly like my ex, and i mean the only thing that makes them looks differant is a mole this singer has on her cheek. it felt like i had been shot in the stomach for a good few minutes. and to add to that i get to meet my dads new girlfriend tommorow and i have been told to bring my football as we will be going to the beach, so that means my dads gonna end up hurt because of his back and i am gonna be off my game as i havent played football of any sort(american by the way) since i broke a bone in my foot. i have done some kicking and throwing as you know, but no actual physical contact.
ever just had that sort of day where you know you shouldnt have gotten out of bed:)
on the plus side the line up for yeovil airshows coming along nicely and hopefully if weather holds up it will be a great day

on the other hand, having a chat with the stewardess ... Wink  Roll Eyes

I have had many of those days.  nothing goes right or one thing happens that ruins it all.

i can remember back to a month ago.  i was getting ready to head to Anchorage, Alaska to visit my sister.  i got to Fort Wayne Intl. Airport in indiana right on time.  every thing was running smooth.  i had to go from FWA to Detroit where i would catch the flight to anchorage.  it was only an hour flight.  i got to detroit Michigan a little early so i decided to call back home to let my family no i had got there ok.  well i sat there at the phone for what seemed like 5 minutes  i finaly hung up and decided to head for the gate.  i only had a 50 minute layover in the first place.  i never even thought to look up at the clock.  i wasnt sure which gate i had to go to so i checked the screen.  to my shock the flight was already bording and i was still at the other end of the terminal.  and for those of you that dont no DTW has built a new terminal in which is now NorthWest Airlines main hub.  it is a mile long and has 97 gates.  i thought i had only talked on the phone for 5 minutes and realy i had talked for 30.  so there i was about to miss my flight and about half a mile away from the gate.  i took off running and barely made it by the time i got there they were just about to close the door.  i was still heading for my seat clear back in row 40 when they began to push back from the terminal.  but at least i made it.  then it was a 7 1/2 hour flight to anchorage.  the whole trip the sun never moved i was on an isle seat so it was realy hard to sleep.  i stayed up there for about two and a half weeks.  at least and the way home i had a window seat and it was a night flight.  but i had a 4 hour layover that started at 5:30 AM  it realy sucked  all the shops were still shut down and there was nothing to do.  then soon as i got home i found out that we were moving.  so then it was the pain of that for the last month.

But i would do it all again and am going to in a few months minus the get home and have to move thing. just to see my 3 year old neices face when i walk through the door.  if you ever get the chance to go to alaska DO IT.  you wouldnt beleive what its like.

ouch. but be glad you were going through the new terminal:) having been through both i can def say the older teminals you wouldnt have been able to stop for a call at all, they are so unorganized and falling to pieces its unbelievable. and why did you just take the tram? or was this when it had first opened and the thing wasnt working properly?
as for alaska i would love to go but can afford it sadly, its one of the places i have on a list that i must complete  before i am 30

ah they had the terminal complete.  i had came in on gate C9 and had to go to A24.  the tram would have taken me way past where i had to go.  and as for the 4 hour layover at 5:30 AM  that tram got a lot of traffic just from me.  the terminal was practicaly empty so i would just walk to one end ride the tram back to the middle and walk to the other end the take it back to the middle.  it was the longest 4 hours of my life.  i was in one of the old terminals a long time ago before the new one was built.  and i agree that they were an F in organization.  for cryin out loud i had to take one of the little shuttle busses out to a 757  i would have though that something that big would be at a gate.  all there was was busses sitting all around the plane.  but at least now its a lot easyer to get around.

its realy not that expensive to go to alaska.  i booked a round trip ticket for around $450.  but i also stayed on the air force base with my sister and brother-in-law.  its cheap if you have the right connections.  they are getting transfered to germany next june.  i had better start saving if i plan to make that trip.  but then again ive see round trip tickets to berlin for less that $500.
