hey guys! well a couple of my friends and i got tired of wondering what would've happened if the war went on to 46 and onward.... so i bring this to u, i wonder what the allies had in stock Roll Eyes

and the thing is taht many of these byrds actually made one or two flghts, the Me P1101 did fly (not in combat but it luftwaffe not experimental markings )and many were captured by the USAF and later flown in the Mohave desert, there are pix f this events all over the net....

what i've always have wanted to do since we started this is to have a dogfight with American & British projects Grin

what would have happend? prob not much the british had begun to produce the jet fighter at the same time, and i believe the US was also on track with theirs, i believe
had hitler gone with these aircraft when they were first offered to him then the outcome could have been very differant

yeah i know.... but if u look back, the allied jets were worthless and coulndnt be compared to any of these models, not as fast, not even as manueverable.... if these were cranked out early the war would have been lost for the allies... they were lucky to take advantages on the little mistakes commited by Jerry bcause of Hitler's fault childish obsessions... we were VERY lucky Tongue

If they got the X-4 system up and working (Rockets under the wings) these things could really make a difference against the allies.

Add to that a few 'Feuerlilie' beam-rider SAM's and i think the outcome could be very different.

Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones), Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and An-24RV&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found here

Had the war pressed on into 46, the German's may have finished their atomic bomb project and we could ahve had a nuclear war on our hands.

That FSW Design later evolved in the Hansa Jet

Someone is making one for FS

I doubt it would have ever gotten that bad. My biggest fear is that Germany would have attacked Britain with a nuclear weapon prompting the United States to drop one as well. I fear that Buckingham Palace may have been wiped off the face of the planet-not taken by the Nazi's. Anway, the allies would have likely still won because the German war machine had taken such damage-but if they had gotten the bomb it would have taken longer and cost a lot more lives.

if they didn't attack russia as they promised in the treaty they broke in 1941, the outcome would be very different... no huge losses in the winter war in russia, and not the mass slaughter which the russians inflicted on the german army

they got it working, well at least prototypes in combat, i read in a book about it (Herman Goering himself tells the tale) and they did indeed scare the living shiza out of the allies, for their fortune (allies') the war was over in a week or two after the incident....

oyu guys have very valid POV, and i agree, the war would've been very differnt.

and indeed, attacking RUssia was a huge error on Hitler's part Tongue

at least during the war with Britn and her allies, if i were him, i'd have wiped out all resistance from my east side (britain and if the US joined i'd ve kicked their arses too) and then get russia, but all at the same time.... Undecided

i also saw in the history channel, that Jerry developed a huge Bomber, it got to fly a few test sorties and had very promiing results, i cant remember the designation, but there is footage of this huge monster in flight, and guess what! n her maiden flight they made it across the pond and hovered 12 miles off the coast of NY for like 30 minutes taking pix and then turned back!!! Shocked

they flew a few more missions but then the project was abandoned Tongue
