FS 2002, and Uncle Bill Lyons Super Cub...!
Download this Cub, put it into your hangar and you will never, EVER, want to fly "Boing" 777 aluminium cigar tubes again...!
(Have a peek at this Thread)...
http://www.flightsim.com/cgi/file
search for Piper Cub. Bill Lyons

Fuelled up at San Francisco International Airport, (KSFO), waiting for ground instructions..
...

Taxiing to the active runway with the help on my mate Fred, with his tin of purple paint and his purple paint brush, I don't know how I would manage without him to guide me ...!
...

Cleared for take-off, runway 28 right, and over flying KSFO Airport, banking left....
...

Leaving 'Frisco behind, heading for Half Moon Bay, (KHAF), full power, steep climb over the hill, flapping my elbows as well....
...

KHAF straight ahead, nose down, throttle back, carb heat on full, (don't forget, don't want any ice build-up!)...!
...

Nicely lined-up with Half Moon Runway, (quite a rarity due to the off-shore winds...!..), a trickle of throttle, check mixture full, carb heat off, (just in case of an enforced fly-around!)....
...

Taxiing to the tower, restaurant, hangars and fuel pump, feeling hungry with a bursting bladder...
...

Ready for a BIG pee in the toilet, (as you do), then a nice cup of tea and a hot meal, while little Johnny and his Mum and Dad admire my lovely new yellow Piper Super Cub...!
...

Fantastic little trip. Off in the Jeep tomorrow, down to the beach to try the Piper Super Cub float plane for some practice take-offs and landings, and maybe a bit of sailing in the Sail Boat. I Hope the weather is nice...!
...catchya there...?

...all courtesy of Bill Lyons...!

Cheers all...
Paul.

P.S.  ...had to reduce all the pics from 800X600 to 600X450, 'cos Uncle Pete said that the total file was too big, and he wasn't best pleased... Cry...!
LOL...!

Hi Woody....!
Have a search on the Forum threads for something like "Bill Lyons releases his planes for free". I looked for it in the threads, but couldn't find it. I think it was started by Andrew Esselbach a day or two ago....

Lots of lovely planes there including the sail boat with moveable sails...!!!
...ALL FOR FREE...!
...LOL...!
If you come across the thread, insert the link to the site here... Wink..!

Hi Ken...!
