I recently bought a new 2.53GHz computer with Windows XP installed. I have found that CFS2 crashes frequently on this machine, much more often than on my 900MHz Windows ME machine.  Cry

This happens most often when attacking ground targets or during long bursts of gunfire. I thought the problem might be memory related. So I exapanded from 256M RAM to 768M RAM. The problem persists and sometimes occurs during level flight - away from combat.

Any ideas on why this is happening? Compatability issue maybe?  ???

I Had same Problem when I 1st Got XP pro, what I did was go to MS support/CFS2 related issues, and found that I had a via Chip set, ( mother Board driver ) so they showed me how simple it was to simply update the driver, Moral of this story is,
Make sure all of Your Drivers are Updated, if You have a Nvidia Card, I strongly suggest this one   http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp-2k_41.09.html
and Update Your Direct X Here
