Phil,I am on a 56k connection and I fly/control without any problems.Machine,if you can run FS then you should be ok(though being online will hit your framerate a hit-though not too bad because of the CSL models).Flying skills,I'll admit sometimes you'll get a bit confused initially about what the controllers want but if they know you're new they'll explain. The sooner you get online the sooner you'll get to enjoy the fun-I hardly even fly offline now.

Well,Ill say thanks to all for your responses to the poll so far. This is the first poll Ive started ,and frankly dident think Id get this type of response-It once again shows the high calibur of people here at Simviation.Im honored and humbled to be part of your community Clear skies, and happy landings!
P.S. Lurch, Ill start another thread about online flight so I can ask alot of dumb questions and get "the lowdown"I guess it wont hurt to give it go,eh?
To bad I cant make a living out of this, but it would probably kill me.

I think I'm going to run both for a while and see what's up with them. I still need to sort more which planes are going to stay and which are going to be eliminated. Plus, I want to compare the two and go back and forth a bit.
