FSUIPC is an application to allow your Flight Simulator "talk" to other programs that you might have in support of FS.

Like FSNavigator, Weather and tons of other stuff.

Definitly a "Must Have".

Ok thanks very much, although its pointless me asking anything right now, I've had it with my PC, tried to install Rivatuner, and drivers 29.45 and my system is all over the place! so I'll have to wait until I get my XP disk (new one) and do a format and complete re-install of XP..........even doing that won't help me, because I just cannot install new drivers! everytime I do, my Monitor goes off and I have to go to safe mode, and even then, new drivers/old drivers won't be accepted by the system, its the refresh rate that insists on staying at 60!! and if I try to make the res 1024x768 16 bit color, and anything from 70hz to 85hz and the Monitor goes off for crying out loud!!!!!!!

Anyway this should'nt be here...........sorry

I'll be back soon, although does'nt seem much point really, I'll still be in this mess even after reinstall!

Cheerio

The monitor going off is due to the fact that it can't handle the refresh rate. How old is the monitor? But even saying that, the new drivers should still install even with the refresh rate at 60MHz.

The Monitor is a pretty decent one, its a 14/15 inch Belinea, I hope to be getting a 17 inch at the end of the Summer, but that's a very outside hope!!!  Roll Eyes

Its about 4/5 years old I guess.

You see I know nothing about the technical side of things, and me going off reading stuff is hopeless as its all greek to me, the manual that came with the Monitor is pathetic, it tells me that the Monitor that can only go to 800x600, and yet the chap who built the PC for me (and he's been building for over 23 years) told me that the Monitor can be run at 1024x768 and at 85hz! which is what it was doing with the 41.09's, but yesterday I read somewhere that this guy was using the 29.45's and tweaking those drivers along with his GeForce 3 Ti (same as me) and he said that those drivers were by far the very best for FS2002, so I tried to give it a go, hence this mess!

At the moment the desktops on 800x600 with 16bit color and 85hz but the Monitor screen looks odd, on one side of the screen I can see like a step effect, jagged edging, only in a small area...........I don't get it, I mean my graphics card is not old, I think I said in one of my other threads that it is just under a year old.
